About the Role:

We’re looking for a Creative Lead - Creator in Residence to be the creative voice and on-camera face of our brand across social. This is not a traditional production role. You will own the full lifecycle of social video—from concept to camera to final edit—while building a recognizable, high-performing on-screen presence for the Care.com brand. You understand trends before they peak. You know what makes someone stop scrolling. You can develop repeatable content formats, experiment quickly, and balance cultural relevance with business impact. You’re equal parts creator, editor, and talent.

Hourly Rate: $45/hr- $60/hr

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the one of the primary on-camera creators for our brand
  • Concept bold, platform-native social video ideas
  • Script, shoot, and edit short-form video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, etc.)
  • Edit in Premiere and/or CapCut
  • Rapidly test and iterate creative based on performance data
  • Translate business priorities into compelling social storytelling
  • Stay ahead of trends, sounds, formats, and cultural moments
  • Help shape the evolving voice and personality of the brand on social

What Success Looks Like:

  • A distinct, recognizable creator presence tied to the brand
  • Consistent production of high-performing, social-native video
  • Repeatable formats that drive engagement and conversion
  • Tangible growth across platforms driven by creative excellence

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years creating high-performing social video content
  • Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere and CapCut
  • Deep fluency in Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Proven ability to concept ideas that feel native, not forced
  • Strong on-camera presence—confident, relatable, engaging
  • Sharp instincts for hooks, pacing, and retention
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment
  • Experience turning creative into measurable performance

Bonus Points

  • Experience as the face of a brand or personal creator account
  • Motion graphics / After Effects experience
  • Background in DTC or consumer brands
  • Experience working closely with growth/performance teams
  • Personal experience with caregiving (e.g. kids, seniors)
